Research Focus
My research focuses on artificial general intelligence (AGI) and embodied robotics driven by an AGI brain. More specifically, I am interested in digging into the root of the learning mechanism in the biological world and developing models that reverse-engineer the human brain.
Research Thoughts
My research direction is based on the idea that large language models (LLMs) have not yet touched the core of intelligence. They calculate probabilities based on the frequency with which two entities appear together, which is only one of the many dimensions of information a system can learn from raw input. Biological systems can learn much deeper information than LLMs. For example, a crow can adapt to a new environment and solve problems it has never encountered before after only a few tries. I believe an AGI system should learn much more efficiently, flexibly, and with far less power than is used today.
Collaborations
I am also passionate about collaborating with other researchers and contributing to the broader community through open-source projects.
